Nov 13, 2013 - Best Christmas in New York

Nobody does the whole Christmas festival and event thing better than the people over at New York. We might have thought up of some other cities when thinking about which city does Christmas and New Year best but in the end, we agree that no other city does it better than good ole New York. Christmas songs have been dreamt up based on songwriters’ experiences in Big Apple.

One thing is for sure, as fun and incredibly charged the atmosphere is in New York during winter, some bus rentals New York places can be cheesy and a mite touristy. If that isn’t the kind of thing you want to see and do, don’t. However, even the most touristy events and places is worth the money and time spent.

Rockefeller Center Plaza is turned into the center of the Universe every Christmas. Even seasoned bus rentals New York travelers admit that, despite the long lines and tough conditions one would have to face when trying to get a foot in, it is worth it. It isn’t called the Capital of NYC Christmas for nothing. The festival includes blasting more than thirty thousand lights, awesome music, performances, lively shows, an enthusiastic crowd and an irreplaceable atmosphere. We have been to many Christmas festivals all around the country and other parts of the world....and nothing, as of yet, is comparable to the one we have experienced in New York.

What we think most bus rentals New York tourists should avoid is trying to get into one of the skating rinks, no matter how well promoted they are. Check around and make price comparison before heading over. Rentals and admission fees are hiked up to unheard of rates and the rinks, depending on location of the rink, are rather small. To top it all off, there is often long lines. If you have to do the whole skating thing, there is a solution - only go during weekdays or head over to Central Park which is much bigger compared to other skating rinks and ever so slightly cheaper. Any kind of saving is a good thing.

Most of us have seen the famous FAO Schwartz giant floor piano on films, TV shows and even caught a jealous glimpse of it in magazines. Well, now is your time to give the floor piano a try during your bus rentals New York trip. But once again, always remember that it is holiday season and there is bound to be a crowd. Weekdays are your best option.
